Calvince is a water resources engineer specializing in hydrology and hydraulics. He holds a Master of Science in Water Resources Engineering from KU Leuven (Belgium) and a Bachelor degree in Environmental and Biosystems Engineering from University of Nairobi (Kenya). His interests include water resources and hydrological extremes modelling for planning and management decisions. Prior to joining SERVIR-Eastern & Southern Africa, his work focused on research and applications of hydrology and hydraulics to support engineering and water resources planning and management. At SERVIR-Eastern & Southern Africa, he leads the activities on water and hydro-climatic disasters. In his personal time, Calvince enjoys reading, cycling and family.
