Majambo is a spatial scientist with a PhD in Ocean & Atmosphere and an MSc in Applied Marine Science from the University of Cape Town. His work integrates diverse disciplines including marine ecosystems, climate science, oceanography, remote sensing, and decision science to provide solutions that support local adaptation planning and management. Given the many large and diverse data sets, he is also involved in developing tools for integrating, analysing and extracting information from multiple data sets more effectively, making it easier to include cross-disciplinary information in addressing complex issues. He is currently the Agriculture and Food security Lead, under the SERVIR-E&SA Project.
